Ethical AI and family law: Rita Gupta at the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses AI Summit 2026

As part of LGFL’s commitment to using AI to improve our family law service, LGFL Director Rita Gupta was asked to speak at a major AI summit in London. Rita was part of a panel discussing “AI: from Adoption to Advantage” at the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses AI Summit, part of a packed agenda of talks and discussions headed by key business figures including former Prime Minister the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP.

Rita described her experience as “an incredible day”:

“The summit’s focus was on AI for innovation and particularly the role that small businesses can take. To hear from such eminent speakers about AI innovation and the role and difference we can make as small businesses was empowering. Together we are definitely stronger!

The highlight for me was keynote speaker Rishi Sunak, our former PM and an inspirational presence at the cutting edge of AI innovation. Talking on “Shaping the Future”, he is an incredibly charismatic individual, and such a champion of small businesses. Having spoken to him (briefly) it was clear how agility is every small business’s superpower!”

Panel discussion on AI: from Adoption to Advantage

Rita said it was “an absolute honour” to be asked to speak a part of a panel discussing the advantages AI has brought to small firms such as LGFL:

“I was on the panel because of the way LGFL are already quite far down the line with our AI journey. The panel posed me the question: “How have you offered your Rolls-Royce service, in an age of AI?"

My key message was how at Leiper Gupta Family Lawyers Ltd (LGFL) we have a clear vision of how AI sits responsibly with the most important aspect of family law: the human side and the client’s story.”

“The key will be a CEO’s awareness of where AI can drive growth and revenue opportunities whilst retaining the very essential human leadership and guidance that makes each business and division unique. If everyone uses the same AI tools in the same way, then everyone risks offering the same AI-led solutions.” (3)
