Anne Leiper - Director
Anne Leiper grew up in Oxfordshire, attending the Headington School for Girls. She read law at Southampton University graduating in 1986 and then went on to complete her professional training at the College of Law in Guildford.
Anne’s professional career began with her training at Paris Smith and Randall, a large regional practice based in Southampton. She then proceeded to work for Sherwin Oliver Solicitors, where she became Partner in the Family Law department.
In 1997 Anne moved from Southampton to head the Family Law department at Pinto Potts in Fleet, which she managed for over ten years. Following a move to Pitmans in Reading as an Associate Solicitor, she jointly set up the practice of LGFL LLP (now LGFL Ltd) with Rita Gupta in 2008.
Anne has worked solely in the area of Family Law since qualification and has over 20 years experience. Although Anne has experience in all areas of Family Law work, she has a particular expertise and interest in dealing with financial settlements and solutions on relationship breakdown and regularly deals with high net worth clients and complex financial matters. Anne’s knowledge in this area is extremely in-depth and she is an expert litigator. Regardless of the value of the assets in the case, her pragmatic approach and realistic advice is applied.
Anne is a member of the Law Society’s, Family Law panel and was previously accredited as a qualified mediator.
Anne is now a fully accredited collaborative lawyer and is active in her local Collaborative Law POD. Anne has been a member of Resolution for many years and is committed to the code of practice. She is now a mediator working towards accreditation.
In her spare time Anne is a keen walker, and also enjoys swimming to keep fit. Anne is an avid reader and has a keen interest in film, cinema and theatre. She loves eating out and spending time with friends and family and socialising in general.
