Our local charitable activity

At LGFL Ltd, we are always keen to support smaller local charities within our geographical area, which stretches from our base near Reading to include Basingstoke, Fleet, and Bracknell.

Director Anne Leiper introduces the work of local charity, Spotlight.

Our support for the Spotlight charity recognises a growing need in the UK to improve the quality of life for children. The Spotlight charity provides children and young adults with recreational and leisure activities that expand their horizons, build their skills and give them the capabilities and confidence to be part of our local community.

The Spotlight Centre in Popley, Basingstoke shows just how effective this can be. By offering a range of activities from performing arts classes to paintballing, dance classes to after school clubs, the Popley Spotlight Centre is a hive of activity all day long.

Overall, the charity aims to help local children, young people, adults with disabilities, social isolated people and elderly, their families and carers, by providing activities and respite that improves their quality of life.

In the past, we’ve sponsored a dance class at the Centre, and we’re delighted to be renewing our association with this innovative and hard-working charity in Hampshire.
