Partner Anne Leiper runs her fifth Race for Life
LGFL partner Anne Leiper will be donning her running shoes again on Sunday 5th July, running a 5K Race for Life in aid of cancer research.
She’ll join thousands of women on the start line on The Common in Southampton. Setting off at 11.30am, Anne will run along the tree-lined paths of The Common and down The Avenue, which will be partially closed for the event.
Race for Life is a series of women-only 5K and 10k runs. There are over 200 5K runs taking place in 2015, with thousands of women taking part who run, walk or dance their way around the course, raising money with every step.
Money raised by runners in all Race for Life events help Cancer Research UK investigate all 200 types of cancer affecting people of all ages.
