Rita Gupta Podcast

We’re thrilled to announce that, in a first for a law firm in our area, LGFL are launching a brand new podcast. “The Modern Family Lawyer” will give insights into various aspects of family law, and how they impact on our clients and their families.

Hosted by our Director Rita Gupta alongside guest expert and fellow Director Anne Leiper, each podcast will cover a different topic in just enough detail to be really useful, but not too much so that it’s legal overload.

Our first podcast will go live on Monday 30 March 2020, when we’ll be introducing ourselves and giving you a sneak preview of future episodes and topics, including - well, that would be telling!

Why a family law podcast?

Podcasts are now increasingly popular as people choose how to receive news and information on their own devices, at a time of their choice. You can listen anytime via your favourite Podcast app, or download to listen to later. We’re aiming for a 20-minute podcast, just the right amount of time to listen during a commute to work, while cooking dinner, in the gym, or during a lunch break.

Like the sound of that? After 30 March 2020, all you need to do is add our podcast “The Modern Family Lawyer” to your Favourites on your podcast app. Or go to one of the top podcast directory (Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, etc) and find us there!

Demystifying the law

Director Rita Gupta is particularly excited about this way of helping demystify family law and also address current issues of real concern.

“My new podcast is a continuation of our commitment at LGFL that “divorce is about more than the law”. A podcast enables me to talk to people beyond our office, and to share insights and information outside of a formal consultation or meeting. Podcasts can be a rare moment of calm and privacy in a busy day that you listen to in your own time, on your own mobile device, at your own pace, and without anyone else knowing what you are listening to.”

Building on our LGFL videos

The new podcast follows on from a highly successful series of 2-minute LGFL videos recorded by Rita and Anne on topics such as “How to keep legal costs proportionate”. The videos provide a snapshot of a subject perfect for sharing on social media. The new podcasts allow much more time to explore topics, talk to guests, and much more.

So, mark the date in your calendar, Monday 30 March 2020 and we look forward to talking to you all soon!
