Youth football team take LGFL to their hearts

It’s not every youth football team that has a firm of family lawyers on their side – and close to their hearts too!

For the first time, Leiper Gupta Family Lawyers are the proud sponsors of the Westwood Colts Under 9s football team strip, with our logo taking pride of place on the team’s distinctive green and white striped football shirts.

We’re delighted to continue to support the Under 9s team into 2016, having sponsored the team jackets last season. As many of our clients know, Partner Rita Gupta is usually to be seen on the touchline at the Colts’ matches, supporting both the team and her son the goalkeeper!

Rita explained why a firm of family lawyers like us are so keen on supporting grass roots level football:

“Football at this level is a true family game, involving young people playing a game they love, supported by their parents and grandparents. We love the way that football allows everyone to leave their differences behind and come together to cheer on the team even on the wettest or coldest days of the year. At Westwood Wanderers, there is always a great team spirit both on and off the pitch.”

Westwood Colts are juts one of several youth teams at Westwood Wanderers FC, a long-established community team based in Tilehurst, Reading. The Under 9s team have made great improvements this year thanks to the hard work and professionalism of volunteer coaches Richard Sipson and Mark Dixon. With new players coming on board, and smart new shirts to wear, this is a team looking to score big time in 2016!
